TYRANNY OF THE MUSE is based on BROKEN BULBS, a novella by Eddie Wright published in 2009.

The comic book adaptation was launched via a successful Kickstarter in 2011.

Five issues were published digitally by Study Group Comics (2013 - 2017) and Alternative Comics (2014). Issues one and two were drawn by Jesse Balmer. A small limited run of issues 1-4 were printed for convention appearances (out of print).

The graphic novel is illustrated entirely by Dave Chisholm, re-edited, and expanded with all-new material.
